My tinnitus turned out to be caused by a tumour
Recently, I was experiencing persistent ringing in my ears, known as tinnitus. I initially thought it was just a minor issue that would go away on its own. However, after visiting a doctor and undergoing some tests, I received shocking news – my tinnitus was actually caused by a tumour in my ear.
The diagnosis was a lot to take in and I was scared about what the future held. I underwent surgery to remove the tumour and thankfully, the procedure was successful. However, the experience served as a reminder of the importance of listening to our bodies and seeking medical attention when something doesn’t feel right.
Since the surgery, my tinnitus has improved significantly and I am grateful for the early detection and treatment. I urge others who may be experiencing similar symptoms to not ignore them and to seek help from a healthcare professional.
